Managing Director, Strategic Sales & Marketing
Greg Lewis currently serves as Managing Director, Strategic Sales & Marketing, with oversight responsibility for Treasury & Liquidity, National Deposit Verticals, Strategic Sales, Business Development, and Marketing & Communications. Lewis joined Texas Capital Bank as Head of Liquidity Management in July 2006 and was named Head of Treasury, Liquidity & Specialized Banking in September 2007. Lewis was promoted to Managing Director in 2017.
Prior to Texas Capital Bank, Lewis spent 12 years with JPMorgan Chase & Co, and its predecessor firms, where he led the Corporate Liquidity and Investments Sales Teams for Middle Market clients. As a leader in Liquidity & Investment Solutions, his responsibilities included deposit gathering and investment sales, client strategy development and portfolio management for Fortune 500 companies and middle market clients across 17 states and 47 markets. Lewis' extensive background also includes mergers & acquisitions, corporate re-engineering, strategic and financial planning, as well as product development and pricing strategies.
Prior to beginning his banking career, Lewis proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He served with the Comptroller of the Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic (FMFLant) Command in Norfolk, Virginia with responsibilities of accounting and auditing. During his tenure in Norfolk, Lewis served in the FMFLant Command and Operations center, as a part of Desert Storm War in Iraq. In the spring of 1992, he served at Camp Butler in Okinawa, Japan for 13 months, where he was a part of a battle study team that conducted studies of South Pacific World War II islands.
Lewis is actively involved in various community groups, including Allies in Service, Warrior Mentorship Program, The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) Naveen Jindal School of Management Advisory Board and the UTD Center for Professional Sales Advisory Board.
