David S. Huntley was elected as a Director of Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc. in 2018. He currently serves as Lead Independent Director and is a member of the Compensation and Human Capital and Governance and Nominating Committees. 

Mr. Huntley spent more than 29 years with AT&T, most recently serving as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. In the role, he was responsible for developing policies to safeguard the privacy of customer and employee information, verifying compliance with the legal and regulatory requirements of the countries and jurisdictions where AT&T operates and ensuring adherence to internal compliance requirements from 2014 to 2023. His responsibilities also included accessibility compliance oversight. Before that, he served as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel – AT&T Services, overseeing a nationwide team responsible for providing legal support to the Home Solutions and Global Marketing organizations and was also responsible for legal administration.

Previously, Mr. Huntley served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for the Advertising Solutions and Interactive Operations; Senior Vice President – Mobility Customer Service Centers; and Senior Vice President of E-commerce, Direct Mail and Customer Information Services, as well as significant positions in External Affairs, Wireless Operations, M&A and Data Operations.

Mr. Huntley serves on the board of directors for AT LAST!; Forest Forward, H.S. Beck Partners Ltd., U.S. Financial Technology. He is also a Board Member for the Methodist Health System Foundation, a Trustee for Southern Methodist University and a member of the Executive Committee for Texas Business Hall of Fame. 

He previously served on the Executive Committee of the United Way of the Texas Gulf Coast, and at the Greater Houston Partnership, where he chaired the Government Relations Advisory Committee. He also served as a Board Member of the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau and was on the 2004 Houston Super Bowl Host Committee.

A native Texan, Mr. Huntley holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and a Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
