Dustin Cosper is Managing Director, Head of Commercial Banking at Texas Capital and serves as a member of the firm’s Operating Council. As Head of Commercial Banking, he is responsible for leading Commercial Real Estate, Homebuilder Community Finance, Middle Market Banking and Business Banking.
Dustin joined Texas Capital in 2013 as Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate division and has since served in various senior leadership positions, including Group Manager and most recently, Head of Real Estate. He has built an exceptional track record of driving growth, developing specialized lending practices and delivering comprehensive solutions for sophisticated clients across the country.
Prior to Texas Capital, Dustin served as Vice President at Texas Community Bank. As the Senior Workout Officer, he oversaw a team that was responsible for managing the resolution or liquidation of criticized and non-performing assets, negotiated real estate sales and formulated litigation and bankruptcy-related strategies.
Dustin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in finance and banking from Sam Houston State University.
