Jeff Hood

Jeff Hood is Managing Director, Chief Human Resources Officer at Texas Capital and a member of the Operating Council. He leads the firm’s human capital strategy, overseeing talent, leadership, organizational effectiveness and total rewards to enable business performance, innovation and growth.

Jeff joined Texas Capital in May 2026 and brings to his role more than 25 years of leadership experience across human resources and financial services. He has a strong track record of building high-performing teams, advancing leadership capability and aligning talent strategies with business transformation.

Most recently, Jeff served as Executive Vice President at Citizens Financial Group, where he led talent and leadership strategy for Commercial and Investment Banking, Technology and enterprise functions. In this role, he partnered with senior executives to strengthen leadership pipelines, drive organizational effectiveness and support large-scale business and technology transformation. Prior to Citizens, Jeff held a range of senior roles at HSBC, spanning human resources, business operations and retail banking.

Jeff earned a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Arts from Webster University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri.
