Texas Capital Rewards Credit Card FAQ

    Are there any fees for participating in the Rewards Program?

    There is a $95 annual membership fee per account enrolled in the Rewards Program. In addition, there may be a nominal redemption fee depending on the reward you choose. Redemption fees will be included in the point value you are quoted at the time of redemption.

    How do I earn rewards with my Texas Capital Rewards Credit Card?

    You can request enrollment into the Rewards Program. After you start spending with your card, the cash back or rewards points will start accumulating automatically.

    How can I manage and redeem my reward points?

    Your points will be displayed on the right side of the rewards redemption page. Scroll down to choose how you wish to redeem them.

    Can I transfer my rewards?

    No. Rewards are non-transferrable.

    What can I redeem my points on?

    Redeem points for statement credits, gift cards, merchandise, event tickets, travel and more.

    Do I need to mail anything in?

    No. After the purchase is made, the retailer will report the information needed to post your rewards.

    Do my points expire?

    Points do not expire. If the cardholder account is inactive for 2 years, points will be forfeited.

    How are the rewards I earn calculated?

    Rewards are calculated on the net amount of eligible purchases, rounded to the nearest whole. Taxes, special handling charges, returns, freight or shipping costs and any unshipped products aren't included in the rewards calculation. Individual retailers determine eligible purchases.

    After I make a purchase, when will the rewards be posted to my account?

    Rewards typically post to your account within a day of the purchase date. Some exceptions do apply.

    How do returns, exchanges and/or backorders affect the rewards earned for a purchase?

    Any returns, exchanges or backorders for a transaction may reduce your points.

    If my card is compromised, lost or stolen do the points transfer to my new card?

    Yes, in this case the reward points are transferred to the new card.

    How do I know if my rewards have been posted to my account and are available for use?

    Sign in to your online account and select the credit card you used.

    Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?

    No. The more you shop, the more you earn.

    Are there limitations or restrictions on redeeming rewards?

    If payment is not made on the account for more than 60 days, then all rewards will be forfeited.

    What browsers can I use to view the rewards website?

    For Windows, recommended browsers include:
    Google Chrome version 99 and later, Microsoft Edge version 99 and later and Mozilla Firefox version 100 and later.

    For macOS, the recommended browser is Safari version 14 and later.
