"While the banks with the most in deposits were typically national brands like Wells Fargo or Bank of America, Texas Capital Bank, which is headquartered in Dallas, held its own. Their downtown banking center collected the third most in deposits in Dallas and the fifth most in the state.

On average, Texas banks took in 2.7 percent more in deposits this year, but Texas Capital Bank brought in about 26 percent more than in 2017."
